Leading Aircraftman Ronald Gordon Pigdon (Service No:148915) enlisted i the RAAF on 28 April 1944 and was attached to 12 Aircraft Repair Depot when he was Discharged on 22 May 1946.

Born in 1926 in Queenscliff Victoria, Ron was the youngest of five children of Arthur Ernest Pigdon (b1887 in Queenscliff, Victoria) and Elsie Rose Ruddick (b1889 at St Arnaud, Victoria). Arthur (a Labourer) and Elsie married in 1914 in Queenscliff, Victoria where they settled and raised their family and Arthur was a Fisherman.

Ron was a Fisherman in Queenscliff, Victoria in 1947 when he married Rosemary (Rosie) Barker (b1926). Ron and Rosie settled in Queenscliff where Ron worked as a Fisherman and then as a Painter. Ron died in 1969 and Rosie in 1998.
