Cynthia was the daughter of William Baden Powell Nosworthy (b1900 at Crookwell, Goulbourn, NSW) and Violet May Taylor (b1902 in Brisbane, QLD). William - a Labourer - and Violet married in 1921 in Brisbane, QLD where they settled and raised their family. William worked as a Carter, Painter and Packer.
Cynthia worked as Packer, Tailoress and Shop Assistant in Cairns and Brisbane before enlisting in the RAAF in April 1942. She was an Aircraftwoman (Service No:99087) attached to 3 Embarkation Depot Sandgate when she was Discharged in April 1943. Brother William (Gunner: Service No:QX8593) also served in WWII.
Cynthia settled back in Brisbane, QLD where she lived with her parents until their deaths. Cynthia died in 2015.
