William had been resting in an unmarked grave, now long forgotten, so April 2016 I placed a cross adorned with poppies on the gravesite, taken a photo of the grave and uploaded the photo onto the Northern Cemetery website as a permanent record of his service.

An application for a Commonwealth War Graves Plaque to be placed at the gravesite submitted February 2020, and was accepted March 2020.

I will post a photo of grave commemoration when completed.
