Add my storyBiography contributed by VWM Australia
Private John Murdiff originally of Kingdown (now Dun Laoghaire), Dublin, Ireland, emigrated to Australia when he was 35 years old. Prior to his arrival, he served as a Stoker with the Royal Navy.
On his Attestation Paper, he noted his age as 36 years but a copy of his birth records indicates he was age 42 years at the time of death.
