CLARK.—Killed in action, on April 20th, at Sa-an Yet, Mesopotamia, 2nd Lieut. Arthur V. Clark, dearly beloved son of James and Jessie Clark, New Farm, Brisbane, and beloved husband of Katherine Elaine Clark.
He give his life, his best, his all.

Mr. Jas. Clark, of Brisbane, has received from the War Office, Whitehall, under date October 26, the following communication in reference to his son, whose death in action in  Mesopotamia was recently reported :-" I have it in command from his Majesty the King to inform you, as next of Kin of the late Second Lieutenant Arthur Vivian Clark, of the Gloucestershire Regiment, that this officer was mentioned in a despatch from Lieutenant-General Sir Percy Lake, dated August 24, 1916, and published in the third supplement to  the 'London Gazette ' of October 17, dated October 19, 1916, for gallant and distinguished service in the field.
