Very little is known about Alfred. He was born Jacob Alfred in Brisbane. He was living in Goomeri just before he enlisted.
His parents were living in Cedar Grove when he enlisted.
He married Elsie in 1919. At present it is unknown where either he or Elsie are buried.
He is listed on the Jimboomba District Roll of Honour, The Woodhill War Memorial, Goomeri & District Roll of Honour, Beaudesert Methodist Church Honour Board.
His parents are listed as Jimboomba Pioneer Families.
