'Social and Personal.

Ald. and Mrs. George Down, Bowen Hills, have received a private telegram from Brigadier-General Forsyth, C.M.G., military headquarters, Melbourne, conveying the news that their son, Sergeant V. R. H. Down, who has been away on active service, just on four years, sailed from England by the Osterley on the 24th January, and is expected to arrive in Melbourne about the end of February.' from The Week 20 Feb 1920.
