My Dad

Morris Percy is my Dad.

He was born in the Coburg area and did an apprenticeship as a motor mechanic.

Later he upgraded to an "A" grade mechanic.

He had a partnership with a friend, (1st name unknown) Aylward from his squadron after service and opened a motor garage business in The Rand, NSW for about 4 years. He married my Mother, Valda Percy. One of my mother's sisters married Dad's friend!. During that period, I was born, Glenn Percy.

Later, he and his two brothers, Cecil and Laury started a motor garage business in Dandenong, Victoria, where he worked until retirement. The business did all sorts of car repairs, smash etc and also a petrol station as part of it.
