Son of John O'Callaghan and Ellen O'Shea formerly O'Callaghan nee Ford of Killenane, Kanburk, County Cork, Ireland.
Commenced return to Australia on 1 February 1918 aboard HT Balmoral Castle disembarking on 28 March 1918 at Sydney for onward travel to Brisbane.
