Son of William and Ellen Mahony, of 69, Corio St., Shepparton, Victoria, Australia

The death is reported of Private Martin Francis Mahony of Shepparton, from gunshot wounds, on May 25. Pte. Mahony was barely 21 years of age ; he  enlisted in July, 1915 : saw 12 months fighting in France, and was wounded previous to being fatally injured, returning a second time to the trenches. A brother, Sergeant Mahony, was in the same machine gun section.
