Unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A72 Beltana ON 9th November 1915; disembarked Suez, 11 December 1915.
Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 16 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 23 June 1916.

He is one of four Australian soldier casualties of the Great War honoured on the Fauldhouse war memorial. Fauldhouse (Scots: Fauldhoose, Scottish Gaelic: Falas) is a village in West Lothian, Scotland. It is about halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. The nearest towns to Fauldhouse are Whitburn and Livingston.
Other neighbouring villages include Longridge, Shotts and Stoneyburn.
