Son of George Oddy and Elizabeth Oddy of Goodall Road, Leyton, Essex, England.

Also known as William Edward Oddy.

On 21 December 1918 Edward married Alice Thomas in the Registry Office, West Ham, England. R.S. Simmons officiated.

Commenced return to Australia on 4 June 1919 aboard family ship HT Bremen disembarking on 28 July 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Hobart

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

In 1924 Edward was residing at a Brunswick, Victoria before moving to Cowra, NSW in the early 1930s.
