Hedley Lloyd LAMBERT was born in Lilydale, Tasmania in 1894

His parents were Robert Henry LAMBERT & Johanna MILLER who married in Lilydale on 8th October, 1892

He enlisted in Claremont on 12th June 1916 & embarked from Melbourne on 23rd September, 1916 on the HMAT Seang Choon with the 40th Infantry Battalion, 3rd reinforcements

Hedley died of wounds in France on 8th May, 1918 and is buried in the Pernois British Cemetery
