John Ebenezer  Thomas HEAP was born in Wagga Wagga, NSW on 15th November, 1895

His parents were John Joseph HEAP & Catherine Amelia BYE who married in Wagga Wagga in 1892

He married Mary Louisa CRICHTON in St Andrews Presbyterian Church in Wagga Wagga on 21st April, 1920

He enlisted in the Army to serve during WW1 (SN 2513) and embarked from Sydney on the ship Anchises on 24th August, 1916 with the 45th Infantry Battalion, 5th reinforcement and was discharged on 2nd June 1919

His final rank was Lance Corporal with the 45th Infantry Battalion (Lewis Gunner)

He enlisted to serve during WW2 (SN N204080) on 7th May, 1942 in the Army - discharge date & final rank & unit known

John died on 21st June 1980 in Ourimbah, NSW
