Address at the time of enlistment was given as Barlow Lane, off Pirie Street, Adelaide, SA.
Son of Angus Blake Organ and Amy Organ of O'Shanessy Street, North Melbourne, Victoria.
Previously William had enlisted in 1915 but discharged after a brief period as unlikely to make an efficent soldier.
Commenced return to Australia on 16 July 1917 aboard HS Kanowna disembarking on 7 September 1917
