Private H. T. MERRETT, grandson of Mrs. E. Merrett, Langham-place, Port Adelaide, was killed in action on October 4. He enlisted in February, 1916, and embarked in August. He went to France in November, 1916. He was 22 years of age, and was educated at Port Adelaide public school.
