"THE LATE PRIVATE F. HAYLOCK.
Private Frank Haylock left Adelaide on August 28 for the front, but contracted meningitis in England, and died on November 25, at the age of 18 years and 10 months. He was the youngest son of Mrs. C. Haylock, of Wright-street, Adelaide. He was of a bright disposition, and respected and loved by all who knew him. A sad feature is that his mother lost a grandson three days after from the same disease." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 09 Dec 1916 (nla.gov.au)
