Next of kin given was a friend Sarah James of Newtown, Toowoomba, QLD. James and Sarah later married in QLD during December 1916.
Commenced return to Australia on 31 August 1916 aboard NZHS Marama disembarking on 17 October 1916 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane.
