On his WW1 enlistment record, Albert gave his father [William Henry Box] as his next of kin and his birth date as 1892. His home town was Elliminyt, near Colac. Albert's mother was born Mary Swayn.
He served in Gallipoli, Palestine and in the Middle East.
Albert married Ida Jessie Lawes [1893-1976] in 1919.
On his WW2 enlistment record, Albert gave 1896 as his year of birth.
