Full name William Cameron Gustave Oshlman but served as William Cameron Oehlman
Son of August Ernest Gottlieb Theodor Oehlmann and Hannah Orhlman nee Cameron of 'Burwood', Curzon Street, Range, Toowoomba, QLD.
Brother of John Frederick Oehlman who returned to Australia on 3 October 1919 having served with the 35th Battalion; Cyril Francis Leigh Oehlman who returned to Australia on 2 March 1919 having served with the 15th Battalion; Arnold Bert Theodore Oehlman who returned to Australia on 25 April 1919 having served with the 4th Light Horse Field Ambulance
