"...3092 Private Leonard William McKay, 10th Reinforcements, 14th Battalion, of Moonee Ponds, Vic. Prior to his enlistment in the AIF, on 13 July 1915 he served with the 58th Infantry Battalion, Citizens Military Forces. Pte McKay embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Port Lincoln on 16 October 1915. He was killed in action on 7 August 1916 at Pozieres, France, aged 22 years." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
