    Son of Arthur and Emily AMOS, 'Hillside', Rockley, New South Wales

    PRIVATE AMOS.
    Mr. and Mrs. Amos, old residents of the Rockley district, have received word from the State Commandant, Colonel Wallack, that their son Carl had been killed in action at the Dardanelles. Private Amos was a native of Rockley, and about 22 years of age. He was in business in Sydney, where he enlisted early in the war, leaving with the 1st Brigade.
