DEATH OF MR. N. D. WALTERS
Mr. Newton Douglas Walters, son of Major and Mrs. Wnlters. of Double Bay, died yesterday. He was educated at The King's School, Parramatta, which he left at the ago of 17, and enlisted for the war. On returning to Sydney, he studied law at the University, and while there was appointed Associate to Mr. Justice Ferguson. The funeral took place today.

VARSITY FOOTBALL BLUE
Mr. Newton Douglas Walters, for merly associate to Mr. Justice Ferguson, whose death at the age of 28 occurred at the residence of his parents, Major and Mrs. S. F, Walters, of Double Bay, was an all-round athlete. While at The King's School, prior to 1917 when he enlisted for the war, he played with the first XI cricket team and with the first grade football team. He was also a good lawn tennis player. When studying law at the Sydney University, he was an outstanding figure In all branches of sport, gaining his football blue. After leaving the Varsity he was a member of the Glebe Rugby Union football fifteen.
