Brother of Bertram who returned to Australia on 20 February 1919 having served with the 14th Field Artillery Brigade.

Commenced return to Australia on 4 July 1919 aboard HT Wiltshire disembarking on 19 August 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Hobart
