Son of Frank V. OHara and Kathleen Mary O'Hara of Hargreave Street, Hyde Park, NSW.
On enlistment Frank's residential was given as Osmond Street, Hindmarsh, SA, in 1920c Frank return to live at the address with his wife Jessie Isabella O'Hara nee Hastie. Frank and Jessie married during 1917c in NSW.
Commenced return to Australia for an operation on 24 June 1916 aboard HT Port Sydney disembarking on 22 July 1916.
