Whislt flying a Sopwith Camel B9248, 6TS, AFC, as an instuctor the aircraft crashed doing low aerobatics, attempting a half roll at 100ft and lost control near Minchinhampton. 2Lt Eric Duncan Grant (20) was killed instantly.
