Frank was the youngest of 9 children for Frank Saunders Snr and Eliza Vickers.
On the 21st April 1917 he married Violet Mable nee Dickfos in Brisbane.
He is mentioned in the book by David Mason "The Solders & Nurses of the Beaudesert District WW1 1914-1919".
Both his family and Violet's family were Pioneers of the District.
He is mentioned on the Beenleigh War Memorial and also the Logan Village Museum Honour Roll as being from a Pioneer Family.
