Gunner Joseph Henry James Goninon enlisted in WW1 on the 26/9/1915 @ the age of 27 years and 4 mths he was married to Everlyn Jessie Bye and had 3 children. He was taken on strength of 2nd D.A.C. from reinforcements.
Regimental no. 12385 after the war my grand dad returned to Australia per transport "Konig Frelerich August which left England on the 20th June 1919 as should arrive in Melbourne on the 1 st August 1919 discharged on 16th October 1919 he died 25 Jan 1955 he fathered 8 children who are all deceased my father was one he joined the Aif for the 2nd world war hi name was Leonard Henry Goninon
