Enlisted as Reginald Adams and later as Reginald Murphy. Husband of Jessie Murphy of 3 McGreidy Street, Pyrmont, NSW formerly of 22 James Street, North Sydney

Son of Ethel Bevan formerly Adams of 112 Glebe Street, Glebe, NSW. Ethel was also given as his next of kin when he enlisted in WW2

Commenced return to Australia (first occasion) on 15 May 1915 aboard HT Maloja

Returned to Australia (second occasion this time as Reginald Murphy) on 26 November 1918 aboard HT Runic

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

In July 1939 he was residing in Paddington, NSW as Reginald Adams
