His grave at Ari Burnu certainly existed but it appears it was subsequently lost-hence he is now commemorated on the Lone Pine Memorial.

 

8th Australian Light Horse

He was 24 and the son of Mary O'Hara (formerly McElhinney), of Birchip, Victoria, Australia, and the late John McElhinney.

Brother 3345 Private  David Robert McElhinney after serving with the 46th Battalion AIF returned to Australia on 2 January 1919.
