    Son of Amos and Charlotte Bellchambers of Bombala, NSW. Brother of Henry Thomas Bellchambers who was killed in action on 14 March 1917 while serving with the 35th Battalion and Claude Leslie Bellchambers who returned to Australia on 3 July 1919  having served with the 5th Pioneer Battalion
