Son of Albert Eugene and Emily Jane Clark of 130 Ardent Street, North Melbourne later of Little Park Street, North Melbourne; brother of Linton Charles Clark who returned to Australia on 19 April 1919 having served with the 14th Battalion and Keith Allan Clark
