Son of Alfred Owen and Mary Jane Standke formerly Owen nee Sellers of 'Painter's Creek', Nambour, QLD.

Commenced return to Australia on 17 June 1918 aboard HT Matatua disembarking on 15 August 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane. 

Medals: 1914-1915 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal
