Add my storyBiography contributed by Stephen Brooks
It was reported in the local newspapers that Private C. Clifford, son of Mr J.H. Clifford of Kolora, was member of the Noorat Young Men’s Guild and took a lead part in social functions in the district. He went missing at Bullecourt on 11 April 1917 and for a long time there was conjecture that he was a prisoner of the Germans. However, his name did appear on any of the POW lists and he was declared as killed in action by a court of enquiry held in November 1917.
