Husband of Jessie Simmons of 'Winton', Ocean Street, Bondi, NSW. Jessie wrote to Base Records stating sh was his wife and had read in the paper that he was missing and that they had three children. William had made no mention of a wife and children when enlisting stating that he was a single man
