Son of James Bryant Villiers and Margaret Septima Villiers nee Smith of Ann Street, Charters Towers, QLD.

Brother of Arthur Villiers who returned to Australia on having served with the 31st Battalion 

Married Louisa Brown of  Vicarage Road, Neasden, London, England.

Commenced return to Australia on 21 June 1919 aboard HT Konigin Luise disembarking on 16 August 1919 in Sydney for onward travel by rail to Brisbane.
