Meritorious Service Medal
'This N.C.O. has been Transport Sergeant of the Battalion since its formation and has proved himself a most reliable and efficient non-commissioned officer. Since 9th August last this N.C.O. has had sole charge of the Transport Section, and has done excellent work under fire.'
