DEATH OF A SOLDIER.
Private Edmond Crotty, aged 22 years, born at Orford, and son of Mr. John Crotty, farmer, of Orford, while visiting friends In the Macarthur district, prior to departing to the war, died yesterday morning from pneumonia, supervening on an attack of influenza. The remains of deceased will be interred in the Port Fairy cemetery today.
