Add my storyBiography contributed by Ian R SMITH
I was deployed to the former Yugoslavia in Oct 95 as part of the British Operation Grapple 7 (United Nations Protection Force, UNPROFOR), but on 20 December the BRITFOR in-being (HQ 4th Armd Bde commanding various units) transitioned over to the British Operation Resolute as part of NATO Operation Joint Endeavour. On that day we all stopped being United Nations troops and became NATO troops as part of the Implementation Force (IFOR), implementing the Dayton peace agreement. Throughout that time I worked exclusively in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
