Son of Mr. E. BROMLEY, R.N. (England)
Husband of Gertrude Fanny BROMLEY, Orange, NSW
Lieutenant Eric Aldridge Bromley , of Adelaide ( South Australia ) , left the Commonwealth soon, after the outbreak of war as a private. He received his commission while on active service . He has been wounded, but is now back in the firing line . Driver Arthur Cecil Bromley, his brother, was formerly employed at the Bank of Australasia, Orange ( New South Wales ) . He has recently enlisted, and is attached to the Army Service Corps .
Mr. A. C. Bromley, accountant at the Bank of Austtalasia, who had been straining at the leash to go to the war for some considerable time, has at last decided that it is his duty in the interests of his country to take the step. Mr. Bromley is a married man, and therefore is not asked by the authorities to enlist, but he probably sees so many able bodied single shirkers, who are letting the other follow to do it, that rather than see Australia calling in vain for these men he has stepped into the breach himself.
