Proud descendant

Researching my family history I found out that I had 2 great, great uncles who served in the Great War.
The other, Percy Stone, was in the Light Horse, and was in the charge on Beersheba.
To hear that poor Will here died in France, and his grave is unknown, saddens me, and I will teach my kids to mourn someone who has no one left to mourn for him that knew hm. t least his family will keep him in their thoughts.

Son of Edward and Hanora STONE

Mr. and Mrs. E. Stone, of 828 King-street, Tempe, have been advised that their son, Private William Daniel Stone, aged 21 years. has been killed in France. The late soldier served his apprenticeship as a Jockey with Mr. P. Nolan, of Randwick. He has a brother with the Light Horse in Egypt.
