Son of John Christian, of Villa Nao, Clarke St., Northcote, Melbourne
Mr. Ken. Christian, son of Mr. John Christian, of Clarke-street, Northcote, was either second or third officer on the Glengyle, to which he was appointed recently but his father is hopeful that he is not the officer reported to be missing. Although only 22 years of age, Mr. Ken Christian has had extended experience. He was for three years on the Ribera, one of the vessels sunk by the Emden, and gained his certificate as second mate while engaged in voyages to the Dardanelles and East Africa
