A cable message from London reports that Lieutenant Frederick Vivian Ward Jones (of the South Wales Borderers), son of Mr. Arthur Ward-Jones, of Claremont, has been killed in action in France.
JONES.—Killed in action in France about July 22, 1916, Lieutenant Frederick Vivian Ward-Jones (Military Cross), 1st Battalion South Wales Borderers, beloved second son of A. W. and M. A. Jones, Claremont, and brother of Signaller Charley (on active service, France), Gunner George, and Private Alfred, of the A.I.F.
