JESUS HAVE MERCY ON HIS SOUL
The death is announced in a cablegram received by his wife, who resides at Pomeroy, Macleay-street, of Sergeant Marcus Edward Tilbury, which occurred at No 17 General Hospital, Cairo. He was well known as wool manager for John Bridge and Co. Limited, and secretary of the Fox-terriers' Club of New South Wales before enlisting in the Imperial Forces in 1915. He served in German East Africa and France, and was with the army of occupation in Germany, from where he went to Palestine.
Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Tilbury received cable advice this week of the death, which occurred in Egypt, of their eldest son Mr. Marcus Tilbury. The cause of death ws hemorrhage of the brain.
