Clarence John (Jack) HITCHCOCK was born in 1896 in Middle Swan, Western Australia
His parents were John HITCHCOCK and Annie AH SING
He enlisted on 15.1.1916 with the 46th Battalion & had previously served in the CMF
Unit left Melbourne on RMS Orontes
Clarence was killed in action on 3.4.1918 aged 22 years at Morlancourt in France
He is buried in Millencourt Communal Cemetery Extension in Picardie in France
