"GAMBRILL Walter Gavin, August 13 1972, at hospital (12th batt., 4th bgde, Aust field art., 1st A.I.F), late of Market Street, Tahmoor, and formerly of Port Macquarie. Dearly loved husband of Allie, loving father and father-in-law of Neal and Joyce (Taree), Melvie and John Shannon (Tahmoor), loved grandfather of Robert, Janet, Philip (deceased), Edwina and Fraser, greatgrandfather of Joanne, brother of Ethel (deceased), Annie, Arthur and Wesley (all deceased), aged 82 years." - from the Sydney Morning Herald 14 Aug 1972
