Lieut. L. J. VIAL, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs Frank Vial, of Kew was killed in action in France on the 11th lnst. He left Australia in 1915, and fought through several engagements, after one of which he was  Recommended for a Military Cross. Lieut. Vial was 20 years of age,
and was a partner in the firm of Frank Vial and Sons.
