William Ransley
William enlisted at Liverpool, NSW on July 20 aged 21. Before that he was a farmer
He served with the 1st Field Artillery Brigade
William was the son of Henry George Ransley and Agnes Ransley, he had a sister Mrs. E. Peen of Blacktown
William died in a fatal train accident in France on the same day, at the same time, that his farther died, also in a fatal accident
William's is remembered on the roll of honour at the Blacktown Soldiers Memorial and in the Blacktown Roll of Honour
