Driver A W. Potiphar, of Drummoyne, was recently presented with a leather pocket book, fountain pen, and other useful gifts by his friends.

Driver A. W. POTIPHAR.-Mrs. E. Potiphar, of “Hazeldene,” Renwick Street, Drummoyne, has received a private cable, also an official cable, that her husband, Driver A. W. Potiphar,  was killed in action in France on July 22. He enlisted in January, 1916 and left Sydney with the regimental transport to "Carmichael's Thousand." He leaves a widow and one child. His brother-in-law Private William Spring, is also missing.

For those he loved and King and country he laid
down his life.
