15 May 1917: Wounded AIF WW1, Lance Corporal, 3486, Bullecourt (Second), (abdomen, chest and jaw) in action during a very heavy bombardment and full frontal attack on the 54th Battalion’s front line. He died of his wounds two days later at the 29th British Casualty Clearing Station at Grévillers, Pas-de Calais.
